Adecco Recruitment in Ashford are working with a well know company based in Paddock Wood who specialise in FMCG.

They are currently recruiting for a Production Administrator to join their team on a Permanent basis.

Job Title: Production Administrator

Salary: £30,000 Pro Rate - ( Starting salary based on a 30 hour week will be £23,000 per Annum)

Hours: You will start on a 30 hour week - ( 6 Hours a day ) - To then increase to a 37.5 Hour week.

Duration: Permanent

Location: Paddock Wood, Tunbridge Wells

Days Of work: Monday to Friday

Key duties:

* Raising department Purchase Orders and schedule deliveries
* Delivery Notes/Packing List administration
* Assist with Production scheduling and capacity planning
* Product & BOM Maintenance on ERP system
* Works Order processing and schedule
* Monitor inputs vs Outputs
* Liaise with Suppliers
* Understanding Batch Allocation & Impact
* Stock Movements/Removals
* Data Analysis
* Support Cycle Counts and reconciliation
* Investigate and rectify stock issues
* Liaising with logistics on shipping dimensions and collection of goods
* Reporting material shortages
* Support tracking of yields

* Monitoring raw material costs
* Provide the Loading instructions and Spec labels as part of the batch document
* Liaise with relevant departments to ensure raw materials arrive and can be sampled in necessary timescales
* Participation and support in projects as and when required
* Minimising plan changes wherever possible by working closely with production Team to match workload with resource
* Responding quickly to urgent orders to ensure the customers needs are met to the best of our ability
* Preparation of reports
* Any other ad-hoc duties as requested to support the Production department

Key Competencies:

* Ability to prioritise, plan, work to tight deadlines and manage a range of complex administrative demands
* Strong IT skills
* Ability to work with a high attention to detail and accuracy
* Good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent numeracy skills
* Ability to work in a very fast paced environment
* Strong team player
* Experience in Excel, Outlook and other Microsoft programmes
* Experience of ERP system
* Excellent time management skills
* Able to learn quickly and easily on the job
* Working with very tight deadlines.

Food and beverage industry experience
Experience in stock management
