Produce schedules and production so that the flow of material meets production requirements and ensures optimization of resource
Review tonnage scheduled against manning to ensure feasibility Assign products to machines
Create and prioritise batches onto individual machine schedules and give to production team Record and submit appropriate data into production database for traceability
Monitor production activity and analyse production data to attain the necessity to reschedule due to deviations
Adjust schedules to accommodate backlogs, design changes and material or labour shortages Identify outstanding orders and schedule into production as a priority
Liaise with key stakeholders to ensure production schedules are delivered to meet standards and deadlines
Analyse scheduled tonnage for the day to identify levels above or below capacity
Chase additional contracts through different depots/contracts team/companies when production
capacity is not at optimum
Notify contracts team expected delivery dates
Notify contracts team to extend delivery dates with customers when tonnage over capacity
Confirm production requirements with contracts team to ensure the customer still wants the scheduled production when appropriate
Confirm with production team that the content of the work schedule is achievable with the manning expertise and machine availability
Confirm with production that they understand loading requirements
Identify opportunities for loading optimisation with the transport and production team
Plan, prioritise and monitor the delivery of goods to maximise utilisation of transport availability
Analyse production output to ensure it meets contract requirements
Allocate deliveries to individual hauliers based on geographical and cost implications Communicate regularly to suppliers our haulier requirements
Monitor due and processed dispatches through the retrieval of outbound dispatch documentation Transfer dispatch documentation to transport tracking system for traceability
Perform trailer checks to ensure loading reflects the what has been scheduled
Resolve problems that occur from production deviations, customer requirement changes or haulier issues
Liaise with production team to understand schedule deviations
Communicate with hauliers any delays in production as soon as they arise to minimise costs
Analyse delivery departure times against expected arrivals using available haulier communication
to establish what is likely to arrive late
Liaise with contracts team to communicate delivery delays Perform trailer checks to analyse what trailers are loaded,
Report deviations to production team when trailers to not match the schedule
Report all haulier related health and safety issues to suppliers and on site personnel Monitor the application and effectiveness of haulier health and safety solutions
Ensure continuous availability of trailers and shutters in line with production requirements
Instruct haulier suppliers to perform MOTs and services for trailers when applicable Monitor trailers available on site daily
Contact hauliers to organise trailer delivery when availability is low
Generate reports
Report key performance indicators to senior management
Track site refused deliveries and report to senior management
Miscellaneous or ad hoc business requirements
Manage specific projects or undertake specific project activity as determined by the business or line manager
Travel to specific locations in order to undertake role requirements as required Represent your function or business at meetings or events as required

The package details are as follows:
- Salary: 25k per annum.
- Working Hours: 39 hours per week.
- Shifts to be 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Thursday, 830.am to 4.00pm Friday.
- Holiday: 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
- Pension: auto-enrolment at 4%, matched by the Company up to 5%.
- Life cover at three times basic salary, whilst actively contributing to the pension scheme
