Our client is a leading manufacturer of engineered steel products with a long and successful history of serving the construction and associated industries. We are currently recruiting Production Operators for their base in Crumlin near Blackwood.


Shifts/ Hours: Days Monday to Friday 7am-3pm, Overtime available


Duties/Job Role: Operating machinery to cut and bend steel bars to the shape and dimensions as detailed on customers schedules, using basic measuring equipment and reading drawings. Full training and guidance will be provided.


Salary: Annual Earnings - Starting salary £9.58 per hour, on successfully completing training you will be entitled to Weekly Productivity bonus, Average earning potential will rise . Average hourly rate (Inclusive of basic pay rate & productivity bonus , average earnings are £9.58 - £12.50 ph )


Experience : -Ideally you will have previous experience within manufacturing or engineering industries.


- Previous experience within a 'hands on role' would be a strong advantage.


-Experience of operating production machinery and / or cranes would be an advantage but full training will be provided.


-Experience within the steel industry a strong advantage but not essential.


-Attention to detail, must be physically fit and have a good degree of manual dexterity, must be able to show concentration throughout whole work process.


-Must be receptive to instructions given by work supervisors.


-Health and safety (Pro-Active) It is essential to have the ability and


-Understanding to be able to interpret sketches and drawings as laid down by the customer.
