Adecco are currently recruiting for a Production Supervisor for our local client in Ayrshire.


Your role will be to supervise the operators within primary operations area to produce parts in accordance with and to the satisfaction of the company/Industry requirements, standards, procedures, timescales and expectations.



You will have many responsibilities, some will include:


� Working with schedule shipments reports to determine requirements for area


� Ensuring workload is assigned and communicated to all areas


� Liaising with all departments and shifts ensuring effective communication


� Ensure the safe use of equipment and team are carrying out pre-start checks to maintain machines


� Determining training gaps and providing when required


� Identify issues in efficiency and suggest/lead improvements


� Meeting and satisfying Company HSE and Quality requirements, standards, procedures, timescales and expectations


� Meeting and satisfying Company production targets and delivery schedules


� Co-operate with Company in compliance with HSE legislation




To be considered for this exciting role you must have the following background and skills:


� Experience in a similar role


� Knowledge of Trumpf/Amada/LVD experience preferred


� Ability to read and understand engineering drawings


� Knowledge of 6S, Kaizan would be advantageous


� Organisational and leadership abilities


� Self-motivated with a results driven approach


� Good Knowledge of MS office and ERP systems


� Reliable with good time keeping and attendance


� Willing to work overtime as and when required
