Adecco are currently recruiting for a Production Supervisor for our local client in Ayrshire.


Your role will be to supervise the operators within primary operations area to produce parts in accordance with and to the satisfaction of the company/Industry requirements, standards, procedures, timescales and expectations. You will be able to drive changes especially along lean manufacturing and 6S principles.



You will have many responsibilities, some will include:



� Working with schedule shipments reports to determine requirements for area


� Ensuring workload is assigned and communicated to all areas


� Liaising with all departments and shifts ensuring effective communication


� Ensure the safe use of equipment and team are carrying out pre-start checks to maintain machines


� Ensuring team are Logging work completed through manufacturing system


� Determining training gaps and providing when required


� Ensuring start of shift briefings have been completed


� Ensuring 5S principles are being adhered to at all times


� Identify and implementing solutions to improve performance


� Enforce strict safety guidelines and company standards


� To carry out any other reasonable duties as requested commensurate with your skills, knowledge and ability in the interests of the Company



To be considered for this exciting role you must have the following background and skills:


� Proven experience with Lean manufacture and 5S and working in a Production Supervisor role


� Demonstrated knowledge and experience working in a manufacturing environment


� Organisational and leadership abilities


� Proactive with willingness to make and deliver changes


� Self-motivated with a results driven approach


� Good Knowledge of MS office and ERP systems


� Reliable with good time keeping and attendance
