We are currently working with a client based in Sittingbourne who is looking for a Production Supervisor to be part of a very busy and proactive team, my client needs someone to come in to the business that knows how to guide a team of individuals in order to meet targets and continue to and develop staff in order to manage the ever-growing expectations of their client requirements.

The role will require you to;

� Offer guidance and leadership to staff

� Continue to grow and develop staffing work requirements throughout continuous periods of growth

� Utilising staff and equipment to meet production deadlines

� Maintain a positive working atmosphere, motivation and developing staff

� Identifying opportunities to improve business processes.

� Enforcing H&S practices

� Managing KPI's

� Oversee all attendance, absence, holiday, disciplinary requirements

� Practical ability to operate production equipment

� Working with other supervisors to co-ordinate activity within departments

� Carry out the administration for the fulfilment of work required

� Monitor Sickness and Absences

� Investigate any complaints and accidents thoroughly identifying the cause and reporting back to the Production Manager

� Attend appropriate training when needed

You need to have:

Good attention to detail

Strong Leadership and Decision-making skills

Experience in a Manufacturing environment

Experience in a FMCG environment

Pay is based on a 37.5 hour week but this may differ depending on the contract offered
