Production Supervisor

We are currently working with our well-established client in a small village just outside Woodbridge, to find their next Production Supervisor to work alongside the General Manager in leading the team and ensuring processes are efficient and orders are logged and dispatched correctly. Our client has been in the manufacturing industry for 30+ years so you would be joining a great, well established company with great future prospects! You will always be learning something new in this role, so we are looking for somebody with drive and ambition!

The role

  • Working alongside the sales team to ensure that production and delivery targets are met

  • Managing and leading the production staff to maximise productivity and efficiency

  • Invoice all dispatched orders

  • Arrange and book all transport requirements with delivery partners

  • Working with Microsoft Access and Microsoft Excel on a daily basis; so good knowledge of this would be very beneficial

  • Admin duties that revolve around the production process

What do we need from you?

  • Previous supervisory experience, supporting in leading a team

  • Experience within the manufacturing industry

  • Due to location, you MUST drive and have access to your own vehicle

  • Don't be afraid to get your hands dirty!

  • Proven production planning experience

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Access and Excel

  • The desire to stay with a company as a long-term career and the potential to learn and grow!
