We are looking for a Programme Officer to work within one of our Higher Education sectors. The position is to start asap, you must be able to start immediately and available for a minimum of 6 months. Pay would be £15.78ph working Monday - Friday 35 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
The post holder will be a member of a university wide functionally aligned programme administration team to ensure consistent management and delivery of education programmes through providing high quality administrative support. The post holder will support to provisional student interview processes. This will include maintaining up to date local databases, resourcing student interviews through a close liaison with academic staff, sending out Teams invites to candidates (i.e. provisional nursing and midwifery students), managing cancellations, keeping track of attendance. The temp will support two other Grade 4 administrators managing the student online processes. Administrative support to Vice Dean for International.
Support all assessment processes in line with university deadlines and regulations and Faculty and external requirements
Provide education services support to academic stakeholders in line with service-level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs)
Take responsibility for resolving students' and academics' enquiries, including face-to-face and via email, responding within agreed timeframes and escalating complex enquiries as appropriate
Skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills including the ability to draft Excellent organisation and time management skills documents and correspondence
Strong numeracy skills and ability to analyse complex numerical data
Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and the ability to work on new systems
