An NHS Organisation in the Wandsworth area are looking to recruit an experienced Programme Lead for Adult Community Mental Health Transformation. You will be the senior leader covering the adult community mental health transformation portfolio of programmes.

The Role:

  • Delivering the adult mental health transformation programme to achieve benefits for service users and the wider system

  • Work with the Deputy Director of Operations, Director of Strategy & Commercial Development, the Chief Operating Officer and Adult Community Service Line leadership team to oversee delivery of the adult community mental health transformation programme.

  • Support review of current adult community service delivery and support the Community Service Line on the basis of quality improvement

  • Work with different stakeholders to define the outcomes to be delivered by the adult community transformation.

  • Ensure that the adult community mental health transformation work is considered through the business planning cycle specifically in terms of developing investment proposals and forming part of the annual corporate objectives and Community Service Line business plan.

  • Ensure stakeholder engagement, liaison and co-production with community groups, service users and carers are a key part of the approach to adult community mental health transformation.


  • Adult mental health transformation experience

  • Recent AND relative NHS experience

  • Stakeholder management

  • Experience of working with senior leaders and Executives, providing advice and recommendations

  • Experience of designing and delivering transformation programmes.

  • Experience of conducting demand and capacity modelling and data analysis.

  • Experience of leading and managing service developments and change programmes.

  • Knowledge of strategic developments relevant to the NHS including the Long-Term Plan, Integrated Care System development (and associated policy frameworks) and Sustainability and Transformation Plans/ Integrated Care System Plans, most particularly in reference to adult mental health.
