Programme Manager


We currently have an exciting opportunity available for a Programme Manager to join the Change Services Department with Gloucestershire Police. This position is a permanent vacancy and is to be predominately based out of the Police HQ, Waterwells with the option for hybrid working. The salary is also negotiable for the right candidate.


Your duties will include but are not limited to:



  • Ensuring key documentation required for the effective management of the Transformation Programme is in place, monitored, reviewed and up to date, including the corporate transformation plan and associated delivery plans

  • Providing advice and guidance to senior managers and external organisations (as required) on management of the transformation plan to support appropriate organisational compliance and effective decision making

  • Managing the delivery of an effective procurement and supplier process, ensuring the desired outcomes are met

  • Designing, developing and write professional reports which include the assessment and mitigation of risk and effective overall resource planning

  • Ensuring the effective use and development of project and programme methodologies, which includes benefit realisation, portfolio management and analytics


Requirements:



  • Extensive knowledge of change and transformation projects and programmes, acquired through minimum of 4 years work experience and hold a post graduate diploma or equivalent

  • Evidence of experience working in delivering major projects relating to the change and transformation of existing services

  • An understanding if policing strategies, policies, procedures and working practices - desirable
