JOB TITLE: Programme Manager
LOCATION: Working remotely, some travel to East Sussex may be required
START DATE: ASAP
DURATION: 6 month initial contract
PAY RATE: £500 per day (Umbrella) - PAYE options available
IR35 STATUS: Inside



This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Programme Manager to support Digital Transformation of services in the Health and Care Sector utilising Agile approaches to swiftly make a difference. You will be joining a team that is developing new and innovative approaches in Health and Care across Sussex. The communities budget is around £4b for the 1.7 million residents.


As a Programme Manager with specific Product responsibilities , you will be responsible for leading the development of innovative solutions to support transformation, deliver improved outcomes for service users and patients and improve the utilisation of resources. This will involve managing complexity, owning multiple work streams, managing dependencies across the product set and enabling change across a variety of complex settings. You will demonstrate excellent stakeholder management skills. This will include securing the "buy in" of senior stakeholders across the community including clinical, operational and technology leaders.


The successful Programme Manager will have:



  • Experience of managing complex programmes in health and care settings- this is an essential requirement.

  • Experience of technology delivery and transformations and be keen to deploy Agile at Scale methods

  • Managing large and delivering complex end-to-end technologically focused programmes

  • Demonstrable experience of stakeholder management - including director level colleagues.
