Project Administrator

Location: Frimley/Farnborough



The role is working within the RSS division, focusing on all controlling & administrative support for projects across the business, including key customers.


Responsibilities include control key figures (expected/actual costs; expected/actual cost charging) and conduct deviation analysis



  • supporting the preparation of project status reports and documentation

  • administering the monthly project commercial processes including goods receipting, purchase order uplifts, subcontract certificates, people/time allocations, change control, client invoicing and preparation of data for project CVR and Cost to Complete.

  • requires proactive communication with technical & BA department heads, technical staff, project management, procurement and customers on commercial elements of the projects


Monthly Processes including:



  • Running PO List in SAP

  • Audit, follow up and control time-sheets

  • Updating of Project Actuals prior to Project Reviews

  • Update Project Management Information file

  • Checking Project Work Breakdown Code Assignment in SAP

  • Framework PO with limit

  • Goods Receipting Procedure

  • Issuing Invoices

  • Reversing a goods receipt.

  • Adding new projects / WBS in SAP

  • GR / IR Audit Control


Requirements:



  • We are looking for someone with experience in commercial and controlling topics and with experience in a project or accounting environment

  • You will have a knowledge of MS Office applications, with a focus on Excel

  • Experience in SAP MM, FI and Business Analyzer preferred

  • Excellent analytical skills combined, with a proactive and hands-on approach!

  • Strong interpersonal skills to communicate openly and effectively on all levels across the team, internally and externally
