Adecco Worcester are currently recruiting for a Production Co-ordinator for their Droitwich based client.


Job Description


This is a fast-moving role working with our sales team and liaising with operations & engineering personnel in order to answer Customer queries and provide them with updates on current order status and new projects. The role is ideal for an outgoing, upbeat, personable, professional with a can-do attitude who is used to dealing with customer issues by telephone, e-mail, and Microsoft TEAMS, and able to build good relationships with customers.



The position:



Customer Service responsibilities



  • Providing updates to customers on delivery.

  • Checking price queries.

  • Checking physical manufacturing/despatch status and updating customers with production plans.

  • Liaising with despatch - transport dates/shipping dates - associated costs/advising customers.

  • Liaising with production regarding due dates and schedules  Regular TEAMS meetings with customers to provide progress updates.

  • Assisting dispatch with information for export documentation where necessary.

  • Attending the daily production meeting on behalf of the Sales department.

  • General customer calls/project updates Sales project responsibilities



  • Logging new enquiries and setting up project files (electronically and hard copy as required), issuing to Engineering and updating enquiry log/pipeline.

  • Logging customer Engineering change notes and following up with sales & engineering.

  • Gather information and update sales/project status sheet ready for fortnightly meeting.

  • Ensuring all relevant documentation/correspondence is electronically filed in project folder downloading drawings/PDFs etc from customer portals etc.

  • Chasing up outstanding new enquiries/projects with engineering Team / sales Team.

  • Following up dates for prototypes with Engineering and Operations Any other reasonable requests as deemed necessary by the company.




Experience:



  • Customer Service Experience

  • Target driven and self motivated

  • Ability to work alongside Planners, Engineers and Project Managers

  • Good listener, with a strong focus on Meeting SLA's and order deadlines

  • Excellent telephony and computer skills, such as office applications, emails and CRM systems.

  • Self-motivated and a good ability to work well under pressure
