  • £20.11 per hour PAYE / £26.03 per hour Umbrella


PURPOSE OF ROLE:



  • To provide the Copley regeneration project team with technical and management support in the delivery of the new build and refurbishment works.

  • Manage and deliver the project's aims and objectives in line with the vision for Copley.

  • Be responsible for supporting the coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with the project's strategic overview, commitments and goals.

  • To work closely with senior members of the project team to deliver the high standards required of the project.

  • Provide active support in ensuring that communication between the project team and stakeholders (such as Network Rail, Planning, Highways, Councillors and Residents) are managed so that all relevant parties receive effective communication.

  • To provide the housing hub with management, leadership and expertise in all housing management related functions related to the regeneration scheme.


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:



  • Support the coordination and phasing of works to deliver the project to the required design intent for new build or refurbishment projects.

  • Work closely with senior members of the project team to assist in the management of contractors and consultants to ensure a professional working relationship.

  • Assist in identifying resources and assigning responsibilities where necessary.

  • Manage day-to-day operational aspects of the project(s).

  • Manage and ensure quality of the product is maintained to the highest standards.

  • Work closely with the senior members of the project team in reviewing architectural and construction drawings, and coordinating and communicating changes to Consultants.

  • Preparing project programmes using project management tools to access critical path activities.

  • Ensure project documents are complete, current and appropriately stored.

  • Ensure that building contracts are suitably administered to protect the interests of the project and the Council.

  • Work closely with relevant stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient implementation of the project(s).

  • Understand and manage the financial objectives by forecasting changes in the project.

  • Understand, manage and update the project risk register.

  • Liaise with the Design Team and consultants to ensure all documents are completed and updated.

  • Implement, manage and document project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.

  • To ensure that construction Health and Safety measures are adhered to.

  • Monitor and report on progress to senior members of the Copley project team.

  • Manage handover of properties, defects free with resident's property packs.

  • To be the lead on lettings and sign ups

  • To coordinate the parking strategy on the estate

  • To work closely with the NHO's to ensure DLP's, communal issues are dealt within timescales and to a high standard

  • To lead on Leaseholder regeneration issues

  • Any other duties referred by the Team Leader/Neighbourhood Manager.


SKILLS REQUIRED:



  • Knowledge of project work

  • Experience and knowledge of regeneration

  • Fluent in IT, eg excel and other databases

  • Ability to multitask

  • Must possess excellent written and verbal skills

  • Ability to work as part of a team and on own taking full responsibility for area of work.
