Adecco's specialist Property Services Division North are delighted to be partnering exclusively with Nottingham Community Housing to assist them in recruiting for a permanent Project Manager to work out of their offices located in Nottingham.
Purpose
- The job holder will co-ordinate, progress and deliver property development projects in accordance with NCHA development procedures.
Duties
- Negotiate with owners for land/building acquisition, and with statutory authorities, builders, developers, and other external agencies on all project related matters; consulting with NCHA's solicitors where necessary.
Produce project briefs, set up and co-ordinate "project teams" for each project.
Brief and commission architects and other consultants as necessary to deliver Development projects and programmes.
Manage the capital budgets of schemes against approved budgets, NCHA financial regulations and procedures, and the agreed targets and grant administration systems of Homes England or other bodies.
- Keep the Head of Development and the Development & New Business Manager informed of any issues which affect NCHA or the effective delivery of NCHA services.
- Provide information to keep manual and computerised records updated on a regular basis; ensuring IT systems are used effectively to deliver the development service.
Candidate requirements
- A Degree or any other relevant professional qualification related to development, construction or Project Management
- Knowledge about processes and applicable statutory requirements in the built environment/construction
- Experience in the field and proven records of project delivery
- IT and Microsoft Package proficiency
- UK driving licence
Salary & Benefits
- Pay: £40,927 - £45,184 per annum
