We are currently recruiting for a Project Support Officer to join a public sector organisation for a period of 3 months initially, on a full time basis. This role is offering 36.25hrs per week and will be paying £16.12 per hour.

This role is to coordinate support for an internal programme and will include funding allocations to internal projects, reporting and collation of outcomes and impacts.


  • Administration of reporting including drafing iverview reports on outcome attributed to the programme to support and help develop annual monitoring statements for the Research board

  • Provide additional expertise and resource to support teams across Research & Innovation in their bespoke needs for information, analysis, interpretation and data managment

  • Support the developement of strategies and managment information relating to the organisations knowledge exchange and programmes

Skills and Experience:


  • Must be able to demonstrate skills in core Microsoft Office programmes, including Word and Excel

  • Experience in utilising, interrogating and interpreting a variety of data sources to deliver effective management reports

  • Must be able to demonstrate skills in project support, project management, data interpretation and report writing


  • Advanced skills in data management and analysis

  • Use of relevant Financial Systems such as Agresso

  • A relevant project management award/training
