Adecco Poole and Bournemouth are delighted to be assisting one of our local clients in their search for a Project Support Officer.

This role is being offered on a contract until March 2021.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the implementation of projects within Resourcing and Development. The postholder will be involved in a carrying out a variety of tasks including maintaining a project plan and other project documentation and liaising with staff in other areas.


  • Assisting in creating and publishing project programmes

  • Undertake specific project enquiries under the direction of the R&D SMT to assist them with delivering the implementation programme

  • Negotiate with internal Departments and liaise with necessary contacts, for example IS, HR Estates and Finance, to secure changes as necessary

  • Updating and populating of project forms and the co-ordinating of information.

  • Undertaking and producing minutes for various project meetings

  • Overseeing and updating the project filing structure and ensuring all electronic (including email) and paper materials are effectively filed.

  • Arrange meetings and conferences including the collation of agendas and supporting papers.

  • Overseeing recording of project information including creation and maintenance of spreadsheets and highlighting with project team specific issues

The Ideal Candidate

  • Previous experience in supporting large scale projects and organising project structures and support systems

  • Must be able to demonstrate the ability to negotiate and influence a range of stakeholders, to achieve desired outcomes.

  • Previous experience in taking minutes and management of meetings and project documentation.

  • Must be able to demonstrate the ability to take personal responsibility for addressing problems that arise and achieving results to required standards

  • Must be able to demonstrate the ability to work effectively as a team member, actively helping and supporting others to achieve team goals.

  • Experience in Outlook, Excel and Word


£10.95 p/h
