Property Administrator


Adecco Chelmsford is proud to be working in partnership with a highly successful business located in Central Chelmsford. They are now looking for a Property Inspector, who is motivated and eager, to join their friendly and passionate team. This opportunity would suit anyone who has done similar, likewise a candidate who is very interested in getting into the Property Industry.


The main purpose of this role is to inspect and report on tenant properties. This role will be 60 % field-based and 40 % based in the office in Chelmsford. You will be covering Chelmsford ( 30 miles surrounding )


Location: Chelmsford (near the train station)


Free Parking - Your own Vehicle is essential for the role.


Hours: Mon - Fri (8:30 am - 6pm)


Salary - £20,000 - £25,000


Duties will include:



  • Conducting property inventories visits, ensuring properties are ready for move in

  • Inspecting properties mid term and producing reports for our landlords and highlighting any maintenance issues at properties.

  • Completing check outs at the end of tenancies, comparing the original inventory and documenting any changes

  • Completing detailed reports to feed back on the condition of the property providing photographic evidence of your findings


Skills & experience required:



  • Previous experience in a similar role would be ideal but not essential

  • Professional written and verbal communication

  • Customer service focused

  • Attention to detail

  • Able to work on own initiative, as well as part of a team

  • Flexible, adaptable nature with the ability to work under pressure, in a calm manner

  • Good time / diary management

  • Full UK Driving Licence and own transport


This role will suit an individual who is pro-active and has great attention to detail. My client wants someone who generally cares and has a great attitude to want to do well.


No real experience is required, just someone who is passionate and determined and ready to succeed within their next working adventure.
