I am representing an award-winning provider of house share portfolio management in Greater Manchester. My client is looking for a highly motivated, detail orientated Property Manager to join the team and manage a portfolio of over 300 units.

Key Responsibilities:


You will be fully managing your own portfolio of 175 + units, acting as a key contact for our tenants and landlords who require support. This will include:



  • Managing all maintenance and customer service tasks that are raised through our management system through to completion

  • Schedule maintenance to ensure billing and financial targets are hit through our maintenance sister company

  • Ensuring all property and tenant compliance is maintained to 100% level across your portfolio

  • Ensuring all property inspections are completed and processed on time with inspection works being booked in for the following month

  • Ensuring customer service levels are maintained to the highest levels throughout any maintenance emergencies

  • Supporting landlords with approvals and statement queries

  • Overseeing check-in and check-out inventories and deposit disputes

  • Oversee and manage the new property onboarding process

  • Ensuring all contractors and cleaners maintain the highest standards across your portfolio

  • Provide and engage additional contractors where required

  • Ensuring all system data is kept accurate and up to date

  • Maintaining tenancy compliance to up to date legislation changes

  • Managing evictions and notices

  • Encouraging 5* online reviews to be left


Skills:



  • An eye for detail

  • Great interpersonal skills

  • Strong knowledge and competence in Microsoft Excel, word, powerpoint

  • Outstanding phone manner and customer service skills

  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks

  • Growth & learning mindset; welcomes constructive feedback for further development and support

  • Good computer skills (Spreadsheets, property management software etc)

  • Property Management preferred

  • Understanding of the importance of each of the parts of the role

  • Ability to follow detailed processes as well as create new processes

  • Adaptable and very organised
