Location: Great Dunmow (vehicle required due to location)


Hours: 9am - 5pm


Salary: up to £35,000


Benefits: Free Parking, 25 days plus BH

Main Duties and Responsibilities



  • Travelling to all properties within the portfolio (North to Bury St Edmunds and South to Burnham on Crouch)

  • Oversee and liaise with lettings agents on behalf of the company, including selecting tenants and liaising with a combination of local and regional external contractors and with employees with the assistance of farm managers in respect of repairs and maintenance.

  • Responsible for organising repairs and maintenance of properties, keeping a record of the tasks undertaken, approving costs and ensuring compliance with the Health and Safety Policy.

  • Ensure all paperwork associated with compliance and Health and Safety is complete including Gas Safety certificates, EICRs, EPCs etc.

  • Follow Health and Safety policy when managing contractors as well as ensuring others within the business adhere to it.

  • Work closely with the locally based farm managers to ensure maintenance and repair of residential and commercial property is undertaken and Health and Safety is complied with

  • Managing the maintenance employee based at the head office


Skills and Experience Required



  • ARLA Qualified (or RICS Qualified) with experience, ideally in a mix of commercial and residential lettings.

  • Self-motivated individual who can work independently with minimum supervision

  • Able to prioritise and coordinate tasks with internal and external stakeholders

  • Financial acumen and commercial understanding

  • Professionalism and good communication skills

  • Thorough understanding of Health and Safety and compliance requirements within property management

  • Collaborative and adaptable with a willingness to get involved in the wider business

  • Competence in MS Office Software essential

  • Experience with property management software (Re-Leased) would be ideal although full training will be provided.

  • Full Driving Licence required
