Working for an ever evolving business in the heart of Crewe, a rare opportunity has arisen to join a business who are looking for a Purchase ledger clerk to join their busy accounts team.

Offering generous benefits and incentive schemes along with a friendly, rewarding culture, my client is hiring for a 15 month contract where you will be responsible for the accounts payable function across various countries.

Key duties include:

  • Responsible for inputting invoices

  • Matching invoices to orders accurately

  • Obtaining invoice authorisation from senior management

  • Processing weekly payment runs

  • Assisting with the processing of daily trade invoices

  • Dealing with direct supplier queries and queries

  • Processing employee expense claims

  • Processing invoices in the internal system

  • General filing, scanning, and clerical duties

  • Assisting with the month end process as required

The successful candidate will possess relevant ledger skills with the ability to process high volume invoices in a fast paced accounts team.
