I am currently seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join my clients forward-thinking team. This position is an excellent opportunity to work within a fast-paced organisation committed to operational excellence.


As a Purchase Ledger Clerk you will be working in a busy office environment, as part of a team, you will be responsible for a number of key supplier accounts. They utilise a computer system called Axim / Summit 3000.



You will be responsible for:



  • Coding and checking invoices.

  • Entering onto Axim system, ensuring they match PO, and GRN.

  • Mark as approved for payment.

  • Check and reconcile supplier statements.

  • Electronically file invoices.

  • Deal with purchase enquiries.

  • Assist with manufacturer rebate claims.

  • Collate staff purchases for recharge.


The successful candidate will:



  • Be a clear-headed and methodical person

  • Good head for figures

  • Strong in Maths and English

  • Excellent IT skills, similar software packages, plus general computing skills (excel, word, email, etc.) are essential for this role.

  • Experience in bookkeeping
