Our client is looking to recruit a Purchasing Administrator to join their busy team. Experience within a construction environment would be advantageous but not essential.

This is a very busy and fast paced role and would ideally suit someone who isn't afraid of hard work and has an exceptional eye for detail. Purchasing experience would be preferred; however full training will be provided, and extremely strong administration skills are a must!

Key tasks:

  • Answering incoming calls and directing accordingly

  • Dealing with incoming emails to dedicated purchasing department email account.

  • Raising order numbers for new plot packs received.

  • Updating spreadsheets/system with order numbers, delivery information and scheduling errors

  • Saving of schedules and logging orders onto the system.

  • Compiling order paperwork and amending delivery schedules with suppliers

  • Ordering specifically measured stock on a daily basis in accordance with required fitting and delivery dates

  • Scanning reports onto system.

  • Filing and collating of relevant department paperwork

  • General office administration duties

Working Hours Monday -Friday 9am-5pm
