Adecco Wellingborough is currently recruiting for the below role for our well established client based in Park Farm Industrial Estate.



Purchasing Administrator-



Salary: £10.78 p/h


Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:30am to 5pm Friday 8:30am to 4pm



Duties:



  • Ensuring each purchase is looked at commercially and procured correctly for cost and quality.

  • Chasing suppliers to ensure that the materials are received, monitoring and organising the replacement materials for any rejected items

  • General administration duties

  • Rejects and organises the supply of replacement materials and return of rejected materials

  • All employees may on occasions be reasonably requested to undertake assignments that may fall outside of their normal working hours

  • Ensure price files are kept up to date

  • Run daily stock reports

  • Deal with office consumables orders

  • Document Control

  • Order office consumables

  • Create part numbers on Sage

  • Assist with other tasks within the purchasing department when required

  • Managing of all materials stock using manual & Sage manufacturing tools

  • The ordering of and maintaining of sufficient stock

  • Maintaining & developing good communications / relationships with key materials suppliers & stakeholders

  • Raising purchase orders using Sage & emailing to suppliers

  • Match delivery notes with purchase orders / invoices for sign-off and ensuring all details are correct

  • Raising any price issues, supply issues or invoice queries with suppliers



Person Specification:



  • Previous experience in buying environment

  • PC literate with experience of using MS office

  • Excellent communication skills and a clear telephone manner is essential

  • Team player and willing to assist colleagues when required

  • Being self motivated, proactive and dynamic

  • Be flexible to meet the demands of the role
