We are currently working with a company based in Sittingbourne to recruit for a purchasing planner role, this company is ideally seeking someone to hit the ground running and be able to learn and adapt to a very fast-moving environment. You will be required to carry out the following tasks;

  • Managing stock levels - maintaining data on internal system

  • Liaising with suppliers regarding pricing and negotiating where necessary

  • Maintain the relationships with suppliers and keeping up to date with T&C's

  • Assist and action promotional activities to maximise growth

  • Accurate details need to be kept with regards to all client information

  • Deliverance of daily scheduled reports on stock levels

  • Keeping record of all damaged and quarantined products and keeping accurate records

  • Investigate daily warehouse stock by suppliers

You need to be quite a confident individual in order to be able to challenge the suppliers of things such as pricing, poor service and issues with deliveries
