My client based on Trentham Lakes is looking for a Quality Control Inspector to maintain quality standards through in process and final inspection of in-house manufactured products as well as purchased items where applicable. Acting at all times in accordance with the Quality Systems and any relevant Standard Operating Procedures/Workflow Processes.


Suitable Candidates need to be able to demonstrate



  • Proven ability to effectively communicate at all levels

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Word, Excel is required

  • Problem solving and analytical skills

  • Ability to establish and maintain multiple priorities and function in a team environment

  • Ability to work in extremes of temperature

  • Light lifting and manual handling


Duties include;



  1. Communicate clear and concise re-work instructions in the event of non-conformity and with Team Leaders.

  2. Participate in tasks related to non-conformance investigations for both internal and external customers

  3. To complete associated paperwork as required.

  4. Record waste as per company process.

  5. Provide cover for colleagues in the event of an absence.

  6. Always follow applicable safety advice throughout the site(s).

  7. Wear and use issued and mandatory PPE, work equipment and tools as appropriate.

  8. Report any health and safety concerns or unsafe conditions/behaviours as appropriate

  9. Participate and communicate with internal and external auditors as required.

  10. To fulfill all responsibilities as defined in the Company's BS EN ISO 9001 & ISO13485 Quality Systems relating to the position of Quality Inspector.

  11. To carry out such other duties as may be required to achieve the overall purpose of the job.
