QHSE Manager (Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental Manager)



Full-time / Permanent / Mon-Fri 9am to 5pm / On-site based



Location: Gloucester



Salary: £35,000 (salary negotiable)



Do you have a Manufacturing Engineering background and are an experienced QHSE Engineer in either a senior quality or management role? An exciting opportunity has arisen for my client based in Gloucester for a Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental Manager. This hands on, on-site role will require a confident flexible approach, excellent communication, attention to detail and mentoring skills and you must possess a full driving licence. You will also be managing a team of 3 and be prepared to travel to other sites in the UK and visit customers and suppliers as required.


Key skills and experience:



  • Experienced Engineer in either a senior quality or management role

  • Ideally served a recognised Engineering apprenticeship

  • Conversant with ISO9001:2015, ISO14001:2015

  • Ability to use conventional inspection equipment

  • Trained internal auditor to above management standards

  • Use of CAD systems to view 3D components (Spin fire / Catia / Solid View)

  • Proficient in Excel, Word and Power Point

  • Qualified in either or both NEBOSH (General Certificate in Health and Safety Management and AIEMA (Environmental management qualification)

  • Knowledge of environmental legislation and Health and Safety legislation

  • Experienced in planning and chairing meetings
