An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Quality Assurance & Compliance Assistant with a structured mindset and good attention to detail to join a thriving organisation based in Chesterfield.


The successful candidate will support the leadership team with their previous experience in ISO 9001, 14001 and H&S management to further assist a 'system driven' business.

This is a part-time office-based role in Chesterfield, Derbyshire requiring a flexible approach and working with several teams across the business.

This role is at the core of running the business and directly supporting the leadership team in achieving their strategic goals in quality, environmental and H&S management.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to;



  • Routine product quality checks from production batches

  • Assisting teams with recording key matrix in product quality, service quality

  • Ensuring audit checklists are completed and identified issues are recorded appropriately

  • Assisting leadership team with QMES issues/improvements, root cause, short-term corrective action, long-term preventative action and producing analysis reports

  • Communicating with Sales, Operations, Product R&D, Procurement, and Certification teams assisting them improvements

  • Assisting QMES review meetings, Factory Production Control meetings and attending both online and face-to-face audit meetings

  • Ensuring robust record keeping processes are implemented and maintained

  • Assisting review of processes and procedures

  • Introducing new processes while maintaining a great culture

  • Analysing information and producing reports for the leadership team



Person Specification:

- Previous experience in ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 management
- Excellent organisation skills effective time management
- Ability to use own initiative
- Effective communicator
- Ability to multitask
- Highly self-motivated individual
- Proactive work ethic
- Fully computer literate
- Good level of GCSE /A level education or equivalent

Beneficial; -

- Experience working in both manufacturing & distribution business models
