We have an exciting temporary opportunity to work within our higher education client based in Central London. You will need to be free to start on the 9th August until the 17th December. You will start this role working from home but will then be back on campus from September on a hybrid basis.

Job description for the Quality Assurance Officer - Administrator paying £16.79 per hour:

  • To support the Head of the Teaching Quality and Assurance Review Office with a range of short and medium term project work and cyclical business processes, including but not limited to:

    • Annual review of department website, published QA handbook and other resources, coordinating/making updates with other team members and stakeholders;

    • Supporting delivery of two ongoing projects (involvement TBC): the External Examiner Process Improvement Project; and the scoping of a credit framework;

    • Creation of a TQARO calendar of activities, consulting team members and existing resources to create a 'key dates' summary for the academic year;

    • Assisting the Head of TQARO with drafting annual reports for School committees;

    • Supporting the team by assisting with query management via two shared inboxes;

    • Providing cover in the area of survey administration (involvement will be dependent on ongoing recruitment process)

    • Ad hoc administrative functions as required.

Skills: Experience of report writing, plus good attention to detail, excellent IT skills (MS applications primarily), experience of Higher Education is desirable, excellent written communication skills, ability to work independently to deadlines.
