Adecco are recruiting a Quality Engineer to join our Global client on a 15 month contract.

Your role will be to actively lead the data collection, trend analysis, investigation and improvements to processes, products and systems.

You will have many responsibilities, some will include:

* Work closely with Production, Technical and Engineering teams to resolve quality related issues arising from customer complaints/concerns and internal incidents. Responsible for the facilitation of investigations and resolution of related quality issues

* Work with the technical support and manufacturing to create and/or modify methods and procedures. To ensure that appropriate processes and/or products are developed, tests are conducted and that products, materials, and manufacturing equipment meet required standards

* Strive to enhance efficiency in procedures and processes without a compromise in quality and identify and implement opportunities for improvement across the operational facility

* Perform statistical analysis to analyse trends, and work with the manufacturing department to investigate trends, conduct root cause analysis, risk assessments and lead corrective actions for processes and products

* Support PPI activities and projects at the site including the facilitation of Kaizen events and supporting the other Quality team members on process improvement activities

* Maintain working knowledge of Regulatory and Quality System requirements (ISO13485/FDA CFR)

* Utilise the Track-wise system for non-conformance's, deviations, Corrective and Preventative Actions (CAPA)

* Apply the Agile system for change controls and provide training, support and facilitate the change control process within operations

* Participates on the Internal Quality Audit team

* Provide training and support to other Quality staff as required

* Perform independently without continual direction and exercise considerable latitude in determining technical objectives and solutions to complex problems

To be considered for this role you must have the following:

* Bachelors/Masters degree in chemistry, biochemistry, microbiology, engineering or related discipline

* Proven quality experience and demonstrated working knowledge of compliance, quality and scientific principles

* Be proficient in Six Sigma tools and methodology or equivalent Continuous Improvement Tools

* Strong oral and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to work in a cross-functional team environment and to effectively interact with all levels in the company

* Self-starter who can take general concepts and direction and produce desirable results and can also function effectively and efficiently in a global, multi-site organisation.
