Adecco are delighted to be working alongside a precision engineering business who are looking to expand their team. Our client is looking for a Quality Engineer on a permanent basis.

Purpose of the job:

To represent all aspects of Quality Management and compliance.

Main duties:

  • Maintain and improve all aspects of the Quality Management System in accordance with the relevant standards

  • Ensure records are defined, maintained and disposed of according to the company policy

  • Control of monitoring & measuring equipment (Calibration)

  • Minimise the total cost of quality

  • Documented release of product in accordance with customer and company requirements in a timely manner

  • Implement and control internal audit programme and identify areas for improvement

  • Monitor and manage corrective action for all incidents (complaints, returns, defects)

  • Manage any third party/customer audits and resulting corrective action

  • Define and deliver quality training as appropriate throughout the company

  • Maintain, review and action as appropriate quality metrics as defined by the company

  • Define and deliver regular management review to ensure continuous improvement

  • Appropriate monthly and quarterly reporting

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Quality Inspector

  • Any other ad-hoc tasks as requested by Management


  • £35,000 - £40,000 per annum

  • Full time permanent basis (Day shift Mon-Fri)

  • On-Site parking

  • Pension
