Location: - Shirley, Solihull


Duration: - 6 Months initial contract with scope to continue much longer
Pay rate: - £40p/h


Key accountabilities and responsibilities:



  • Work with ECMS leaders and their teams to implement and ensure compliance with BMS and regulatory requirements. Act as the first point of contact for internal quality issues.

  • Conduct and support audits to ensure compliance of all ECMS business areas with customer, regulatory or ECMS /Aerospace quality standards.

  • Proactive review and improvement of systems and processes to ensure standards are maintained.

  • Identify root cause. Apply and follow up corrective actions.

  • Participate in, and where appropriate, lead quality investigations resulting from customer complaints or escapes.

  • Conduct and support customer and regulatory surveillance visits. Accompany third party auditors and ensure the close - out of actions arising from audits. Support supplier investigations as necessary.

  • Responsible for First Article Inspection, as required.

  • Develop and maintain accurate quality documentation, including training records as required.

  • Conduct analysis, report on Key Performance Indicators and other relevant metrics.


Essential requirements including qualifications, skills, knowledge, competencies:



  • Demonstrable experience of quality management systems / be a trained and a proficient AS9100 rev D lead auditor.

  • Demonstrates professional and credible communication with colleagues, including internal stakeholders (e.g. engineering teams, supply chain team) and external stakeholders.

  • Solutions orientated and flexible, without compromising process and product quality.

  • Proficient in the use of IT and able to leverage systems to provide data and reports for the benefit of the business.

  • Proactive with strong planning and organisational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
