Adecco UK have an exciting opportunity, we are currently recruiting a Quality engineer to join a prestige aerospace company. The role holder will ensure quality conformance, customer satisfaction and quality improvement through the effective deployment of the BMS system and associated activities including audit, investigations, procedures and documentation.

Duration - 6 months (Possible extension)
Location - Solihull
Pay Rate - £50.00ph - Umbrella
Hours - 37 Flexible on start times normal hours 8 - 4.30 finish at 12 on Friday


Responsibilities:



  1. Work with ECMS leaders and their teams to implement and ensure compliance with BMS and regulatory requirements. Act as the first point of contact for internal quality issues.

  2. Conduct and support audits to ensure compliance of all ECMS business areas with customer, regulatory or ECMS / Collins Aerospace quality standards.

  3. Proactive review and improvement of systems and processes to ensure standards are maintained.

  4. Identify root cause. Apply and follow up corrective actions.

  5. Participate in, and where appropriate, lead quality investigations resulting from customer complaints or escapes.

  6. Conduct and support customer and regulatory surveillance visits. Accompany third party auditors and ensure the close - out of actions arising from audits. Support supplier investigations as necessary.

  7. Responsible for First Article Inspection, as required.

  8. Develop and maintain accurate quality documentation, including training records as required.

  9. Conduct analysis, report on Key Performance Indicators and other relevant metrics.
