Adecco have a fantastic opportunity to join a company based in Hungerford. Our client is looking for a Quality Inspector/Auditor to join their team on a 6-month Fixed Term Contract. The role is working Monday - Friday offering a salary up to £30,000 - £34,000.

Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Supporting and improving all aspects of the Quality Management System in accordance with the relevant standards

  • Performing regular production process and product inspection via auditing, both scheduled and at random

  • Supporting internal audit program of the Quality Management System and identifying areas of improvement under guidance of the Quality Engineer/Manager

  • Providing Goods In inspection support as required

  • Assisting with timely completion of Initial Sample Inspection Reports

  • Monitoring and resolving items placed in quarantine

  • Day to day management of the equipment calibration procedure

  • Day to day management of the processing of customer returns items

  • Minimizing the total cost of quality wherever possible

  • Providing support as requested for company reporting requirements

Candidates will ideally have/be:

  • Qualified and experienced inspector/auditor

  • Have experience in a manufacturing or an engineering environment

  • Have experience of working in a ISO9001 Quality Management System

  • Have excellent communication skills - written and verbal.

  • Be highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

  • Have a full UK driving license.
