Job Introduction

On behalf of ENCIRC, Adecco are recruiting for a Railhead Operator to join the ever-growing, highly successful manufacturing plant in Elton, Chester. The purpose of the role is to load tipping trailers with sand/cullet from the Railhead and other site areas, support Train arrivals , work with railhead conveyor system.

Main Responsibilities

• Loading tipping trailers with sand/cullet.


• Support train arrivals/conveyor start up for arrival and shut down on departure


• Housekeeping sand and cullet areas to be kept in tidy manner /wastage to minimum


• Shovel maintenance / regreasing checking oils/fluids daily basis /machine to be kept in clean manner


• Ensure that all tasks are completed in accordance with Encirc Health & Safety regulations.


• To ensure the workplace is kept clean at all times.


• Defects/damages reports
  
  

The Ideal Candidate

• 
  

  Previous experience as a loader shovel driver

  
  


• 
  

  Up to Date loading shovel licence

  
  


• CPCS A21 A22


• Must be able to cope in a highly pressurised environment to be able to work as part of a team


• Hard working flexible with a positive attitude.


• Must be flexible as overtime and work schedule could be changed or required at the last minute to meet customer needs, weekend work may also be required on occasions


• Desirable; LGV C + E licence but not essential
