We are currently recruiting for an Executive Support Assistant working with Croydon Council.
The role is an initial 6 Month contract working 36 hours a week with a pay rate of £18.22 an hour PAYE. The role is hybrid working, candidates will be required to work 2 days in the office at Bernard Weatherill House,Croydon.

To provide self-directed and proactive executive support to the Director to which the postholder has been aligned - noting that there is provision for the postholder to be realigned on a temporary basis to other Director posts if required to meet business needs.



Acting as an executive support 'partner' to the Director within the Divisional Leadership Team to enable and facilitate the achievement of the Director's and Corporate Leadership Team's strategic objectives and key outcomes; as well as the Divisional objectives and outcomes.



To work collaboratively with other Executive Support Officers both within Business Support and within the Chief Executive's office.




To take individual and collective professional responsibility for championing the council's diversity agenda, proactively implementing initiatives which secure equality of access and outcomes. Commit to continual development of personal understanding of diversity.




The post holder will be required to develop and promote a network of internal contacts across all areas of the Council; and to engage with gravitas and effect with external contacts within the local and central government spectrum, including: other local authorities; third sector organisations; government departments and agencies; local government representative groups; unions.



The post holder will be required to liaise with all staff across the Council, including elected Members, with effect and on behalf of the Director
