My client is looking for a outgoing and customer service focused individual, with a background in a front of house role.

The successful applicant must be confident working in a forward facing and highly professional environment. You must also posses GCSE Maths and English grade C or above, as you will be required to complete a numeracy and literacy test, during interview.

Role responsibilities:

* Positively engages with all patients/visitors to the Medical Practice, welcoming them on arrival and ensuring they complete all necessary documentation prior to appointment.

* Ensures all visitors to the Medical Practice have a positive experience in line with company guidelines, such as a drink on arrival.

* Answers all customer enquiries (telephone, email, web) in a friendly and welcoming manor and in line with company guidelines

* Carries out all practice admin through the clinical system, such as diary management and patient registration.

* Maintains a clean and tidy practice at all times in line with company guidelines.

* Proactively identifies areas of improvement and reports back to line management accordingly.

* Actively promotes the range of services available at the practice and is confident in their understanding of the offering

* Ensures all customer queries are dealt with quickly and efficiently.

* Ensures all clinics are ready prior to patient arrival and that clinicians have all relevant documentation.

* Complies with medical confidentiality and respects patient privacy

* Understands the practice's safeguarding policy and raises concerns where necessary

* Sensitively delivers patient results as directed by the clinician.

* Manages the process for repeat prescriptions, handling patient requests and seeking authorisation from the relevant clinician.

* Takes payment for appointments and re books appointments as requested by the clinician/patient

* Manages all stock levels, including stationary and vaccines/medication, and reorders where necessary

* Takes delivery of all supplies and specifically follows the cold chain procedure for all vaccine deliveries.

* Understands practice procedures and protocols, and identifies any issues to line management.

* Undertakes any other duties as required, consistent with the grading of the job, and which fall within the capabilities of the post holder.

* Maintains courtesy, professionalism and high standards of presentation in all communications with customers and potential customers;

* Performs all tasks and duties when required, such as chaperoning, and providing flexibility and cover in a team working environment
