Location: City Thameslink, London
Salary/Rate: £22,000 annum
Type: Permanent, full-time


Job Description


Adecco City are currently recruiting for a marketing leading, technology-based client of ours based near City Thameslink, in their modern head offices. The successful candidate will be company focused, friendly, professional and well presented with an excellent telephone and interpersonal manner.


Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:



  • Manning of the reception, signing in process and looking after guests with drinks

  • Answering reception phone and distributing calls throughout the company

  • Monitor people coming through the reception doors

  • Issue visitor passes where required

  • Maintain an efficient and organised office environment

  • Manage meeting room bookings

  • Ensuring meeting rooms are setup ready for the day

  • Organising client refreshments and uploading orders to company CRM system

  • Setting up wireless access for external visitors

  • Taking co-workers photos

  • Signing for deliveries

  • Managing access tokens

  • Booking taxis

  • Induction Event Management

  • Maintaining supplies of stationery

  • Logging facilities incidents

  • Helping to direct contractors

  • Sort and distribute incoming mail, prepare outgoing mail

  • Taking and distributing messages

  • Maintain and organise reading material in the reception area

  • Distributing emails to all co-workers regarding meetings, lost property or any other requests.


Ideal candidate and personal qualities:



  • Warm and welcoming but with the strength of character to manage all office users to keep to their high standards.

  • Confident with exemplary organisation skills

  • Ability to prioritise value-add tasks and manage workload by level of importance and urgency

  • Flexible approach to dealing with different personalities and management skills

  • Computer literate and able to learn new web-based packages and apps

  • An incredibly self-motivated and highly energetic individual with a passion to learn and contribute

  • Previous reception experience preferred

  • Experience with Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
