Job title: Receptionist/Facilities Assistant
Location: Westminster
Duration: 3 months
Hourly rate: £10.50
Hours/Days: 4 days a week

The role is to manage the reception area. Managing building access, undertaking some general admin, and provide assistance to the Facilities Manager during a large office refurbishment.

Job duties

  • Manage room bookings in line with the building's maintenance work to ensure the maximum access and minimal disruption

    • Liaising with the contractors

    • Arranging relevant cleaning

  • General administration/data entry

    • Keeping on top of job sheets/supplier certificates and ensuring these are recorded in the relevant places

  • Updating and maintaining contractor and supplier list

  • Liaising with our tenants

  • Managing post/courier bookings

  • Liaising with cleaners and monitoring cleaning standards

  • Some manual handling could be involved with deliveries


  • Previous reception and administrative experience

  • Excellent communication skills - clear and concise, able to communicate requirements and procedures

  • Cope well under pressure

  • Team player

  • Able to take imitative and won't require constant supervision

  • Ability to tactfully and professionally push back
