Our client based in Liverpool city centre is currently looking for a Receptionist to work within one of their busy departments.


This is a temporary post initially for 4 weeks but may be extended.


This is a full-time role, working Monday to Friday - 9am - 5pm with a 30 minute lunch break.



The duties of this role include, but are not limited to:




  • First point of contact for all queries

  • Assist with administrative functions

  • Refer any large issues/difficulties to senior colleagues

  • Share work with other colleagues on similar work load

  • Providing an elevated level of customer care

  • Keeping up to date with internal policies and procedures

  • Provide a first point of contact service for visitors and other members of staff

  • Enter confidential details on to a bespoke system

  • Handle enquiries about confidential, personal and/or sensitive matters

  • Provide secretarial support to senior members of staff, in relation to their administrate responsibilities

  • Maintain databases with addresses, phone numbers etc

  • Collate internal news letters



The skills and experience required for this role includes, but is not limited to:




  • This is a particularly busy reception area, so experience within reception/helpdesk/customer service and/or administration is essential for this role

  • Experience in working towards tight deadlines

  • Experience using initiative to identify problems and propose solutions

  • Good keyboard skills and ability to set out a variety of complex documents precisely

  • A flexible, adaptable and enthusiastic approach to work

  • Good knowledge of using Microsoft Office suite of applications

  • Good organisational skills

  • Contributes to developing good working relationships within a team and with a wider group of colleagues
