Principal Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the delivery of Recovery College courses at their identified base, and when required across any other venues across the trust footprint and at any partner organisations venues.

  • Organise, design and deliver engagement sessions and effective communications promoting the Recovery College and its courses to prospective students, trust staff and external stakeholders.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners ensuring the best possible service is available at all times, dealing with any matters arising in a timely and professional matter.

  • Co-ordinate, design and deliver accredited and non-accredited recovery learning programmes within the Recovery College and its associated projects and contracts.

  • Assess and evaluate recovery learning programmes by providing reports and data as requested by the Senior Recovery Learning Facilitator.

  • Provide academic support to students undertaking programmes of learning; providing written and oral feedback on their development as and when required.

  • Support student's mental wellbeing during recovery learning programmes by managing exposure to sensitive and emotional content, experiences and materials.

  • To co-produce and co-deliver courses provided within the Recovery College using a combination of experts by profession and experts by experience.

  • Support the Senior Recovery Learning Facilitator in designing appropriate evaluation tools for Recovery Learning programmes ensuring effective data reporting to the Head of Recovery College Development.

  • Contribute to the development of Recovery College data collection systems and processes which highlight the effectiveness of the Recovery College.

  • Maintain records in accordance with Trust Policies of all recovery learning and development activity.

  • Responsible for the production and communication of regular reports on all Recovery College activity to senior team members and Senior Management Team.

  • Support and contribute towards Recovery College development, research and innovation undertaking horizon scanning to identify best practice to inform future developments.

  • Ensure an up to date portfolio of evidence is completed to demonstrate your continuing professional development.

  • Deputise into the role of Senior Recovery Learning Facilitator as required, attending any meetings required, and co-ordinating additional multi-site recovery learning programs.

  • Responsible for taking appropriate immediate action following incidents and subsequent reporting and completion of Trust documentation. This will include areas such as complaints, safeguarding, adverse incidents etc.

  • All post holders will deliver Recovery College learning programmes and experiences across the footprint of the of the organisation
