Adecco Manchester are pleased to be supporting a well-known organisation within Higher Education to recruit for a Registration Administrator to join their team.



This is a permanent role paying £20'800, working 5 days over Monday-Sunday, 8.15am-5.30pm. We provide excellent benefits:

The Registration Administrator's role will be to greet the candidates into the Examination Centre and carry out a series of checks prior to their exam. You will be providing an excellent candidate service throughout.



Check ID presented conforms to the company policy



  • Check the ID photo against the candidate

  • Take a passport style photo of the candidate and upload it

  • Take a scan of the ID and upload it

  • Check:

  • Name (all 3 parts - look for extras/missing/mistakes)

  • Date of Birth

  • ID No

  • ID Expiry date

  • Nationality

  • Signature matches

  • Check ID details on Examination Report against original documentation

  • Check photo uploaded to is a match against the candidate present and the ID that they have presented.

  • Check that scanned and uploaded ID is an accurate copy of that ID presented by the candidate

  • Take a voice recording by informing the candidate to follow specific instructions

  • Check over address for any anomalies and ask candidate to confirm their address

  • Check that the mobile phone number recorded is correct (or obtain correct one)

  • Check that the candidate has no electronic devices, watches, or any other items on them except their locker key.

  • Make a visual check for any blue-tooth devices behind the ears

  • Make a quick check, if the candidate is wearing glasses, that they do not have any Bluetooth technology.

  • Explain how to present ID to examiner

  • Instruct candidate to wait in "X" place afterwards

  • Place Examination Report Form on edge of desk for Stewards

  • Follow the correct procedure where problematic IDs are presented




This is a lovely role for somebody perhaps from a retail or hospitality background looking to retrain within administration. We are looking for friendly people with great attention to detail and who can provide an excellent candidate experience.


This role is to begin ASAP.
