Renewal Retention Executive - Insurance


£18,000 - £22,000 + bonus and incentives

Are you an ambitious and hardworking individual with a Commercial insurance background that is looking for the next step in your career? We have an exciting opportunity within a large, reputable company within the Brierley Hill area that is looking for you!



Skills/Experience Required:



  • Strong phone and verbal communication skills along with active listening

  • Previous insurance experience is required

  • Customer focus and adaptability to different personality types

  • Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively

  • Positive, Proactive and forward thinking

  • Good management of time, never say no attitude, be able to extract information from customers and overcome objections

  • Good Maths and communication skills

  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products would be an advantage

  • Computer literate


Duties Include but are not limited to:



  • To make outbound and take inbound phone calls with existing clients

  • Manage large amounts of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner

  • Speak to Insurers regarding a clients policy

  • Follow renewal scripts to meet compliance and customer service requirements

  • Seize opportunities to upsell products when they arise

  • Inviting, dealing with referrals and following up renewals across all classes of business

  • Perform administrative tasks, such as maintaining records and handling policy renewals

  • Targeted renewal retention of 75%

  • Manage pipeline of potential renewals to meet renewal retention requirements

  • Follow a process for chasing renewals with calls, texts and emails

  • Meet personal & team KPI's

  • Drives renewals and monitors individual performance to achieve results

  • Customer and retention focused

  • Drive the business to achieve company and individual targets

  • Maintains excellent service standards ensuring all our customers' expectations are exceeded

  • Compliant and follows guidelines to comply with FCA regulations

  • Contributes to team work and supports the team to deliver results

  • Organisation stills with the ability to monitor and track results

  • Displays a can-do attitude and is a positive influence in the role
