Adecco are currently recruiting for a Resident Liaison Officer to work with a West-London Local Authority on a temporary basis.


Previous Resident Liaison experience is essential. Applicants without this will not be considered for this position.

  • £18.07 per hour PAYE / £23.70 per hour Umbrella

  • Hybrid role - a minimum of 2 days per week in the office based in Ealing, remainder at home

  • ASAP Start

MAIN OBJECTIVES OF THE JOB AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

* To comply with Ealing Council ' Code of Conduct, Equality & Diversity policy and Health & Safety policy.

In conjunction with the other RLO's to provide admin support across delivery contracts, manage requests and enquiries into the central email box for the Asset Management Team, responding accordingly or redirecting the enquiry to the correct service area or Officer.

* To be the first point of contact for customers (tenants and leaseholders} queries and concerns on the capital works programme; to maintain accurate records of customers feedback in relation to the capital works programme, noting individual needs, particularly of vulnerable customers.

* To assist in the development of the communications and consultation plan for customers; liaising as necessary with other members of the Asset Investment Team and staff in the central communications department; and to effectively communicate with customers in relation to the delivery of the capital works programme, using a range of communication tools such as meetings, newsletters, the internet etc. that are designed to meet all the information needs of customers on the planned maintenance service.

* To attend resident forums, estate walkabouts, resident surgeries etc. dealing with customers queries or concerns on the capital works programme and to impart information on key service issues. To organise customer events as required. To work closely with resident involvement colleagues in being a champion for residents in relation to the capital works programme. To work closely with other staff in housing management and leasehold services to ensure customers receive a seamless service.

* To collect customer satisfaction data, and produce regular reports for management on satisfaction results. To provide admin assistance and to assist the Contract Administrators in the inputting of satisfaction data into the property database. To advise managers on key satisfaction issues; including the initial investigation and administration for responses to complaints.

* To undertake any other duties appropriate to the post and grade.

* To provide administrative cover within the team, as required.

* Undertake occasional evening and weekend work when necessary.
