An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Resourcing Coordinator to join a public sector organisation based in East London on a 12 month FTC.

The role will be responsible for managing the operational recruitment of permanent and temporary social work staff as well as implementing effective strategies to harmonise social worker recruitment management of the PSL for recruitment of permanent staff via specialist recruitment agencies and European/International recruitment campaigns.

A background in resourcing and recruitment experience is essential. Previous experience resourcing within social work is desirable.

Key duties will include:

  • Responsible for being the first point of contact, ensuring all service requests and enquiries relating to social workers and supporting roles are processed with high levels of customer service. This includes managing the social care recruitment inbox

  • Lead the day to day management of the recruitment of recruitment for permanent staff via specialist recruitment agencies and specialist European/International recruitment campaigns

  • To support the Resourcing Manager in identifying areas requiring improvement, working on possible solutions and managing the implementation of agreed solutions

  • Oversee full onboarding process for new starters to support

  • To support hiring managers with drafting engaging adverts to attract the right level and quality of applicants across varied media channels. This includes developing and updating social work contents on the website

  • Establish and maintain working relationships with external candidate providers

  • Act as a professional adviser to hiring managers to secure approval to advertise from workforce board

  • To take ownership for respective vacancies ensuring that all recruitment activities are completed in a timely manner and ensure quality of service
