JOB TITLE: Restaurant Manager (Permanent Position)

SALARY: Up to £32,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Location: Welwyn Garden City

My client is currently recruiting for an experienced Restaurant Manager to manage our 2AA Rosette restaurant. Working with an excellent team you will be responsible for setting service standards, managing the day to day running of the restaurant, preparing rotas and monitoring costs and stock percentages.

The role of Restaurant Manager will involve:

  • Management of the Restaurant so that all guests receive excellent standards of customer service throughout.

  • Meeting and greeting guests.

  • Leading shifts, including training and motivating the team.

  • Achieving budgetary targets and making recommendations for development.

  • Working in partnership with Sales and Marketing to generate revenue through events and promotions

  • Liaising effectively with the Kitchen and Head Chefs regarding menus and upcoming bookings.

  • Dealing with customer queries and issues.

  • Compiling and implementing staff rotas.

  • Ensuring excellent standards of cleanliness and hygiene

Requirements for Restaurant Manager:

  • The successful candidate must have previous fine dining restaurant managerial experience, experience within a 4* 2 rosette property will be a distinct advantage.

  • Candidates must enjoy being a "hands-on" member of a team. All applicants must have a flexible approach to their work and be willing to work the hours required of the business.

  • An excellent standard of presentation is essential.

  • Our successful Restaurant Manager will work a variety of shifts, on any 5 days from 7, on any day of the year.
