Adecco Birmingham is recruiting for temporary full time Retail Assistant/Warehouse Operative in Saltley, Birmingham to work for an electronic retail warehouse. This role will initially be for a four-week contract but may become permanent.


To be successful for this role you will need experience working in a warehouse environment, picking and packing, working as a sales assistant using the tills. It is preferable that you have a driving licence as you may be required to travel around Birmingham should the role become permanent. It is also preferable if you have worked in a sales or customer service-based role previously.


This is a varied role where you will have the opportunity to apply a variety of skill sets, and you will be working within a supportive and established team in a successful and growing company.


You must be available to work between 8:00-18:00 Monday-Friday.



This role will be starting from up to £9.50 per hour depending on experience and is expected to last a minimum of four weeks.


Your main responsibilities will be as follows:



  • Picking and packing electronic components and making up kits.

  • Serving customers at the counter

  • Placing and chasing customer orders

  • Working in the warehouse which is at the back of the store.
