To provide administrative support to a range of departments including Semiconductor, Scientific, P.E. Sales, WQI and Medical to ensure tasks are carried out efficiently and high levels of customer service (internal and external) are maintained.



KEY ACCOUNTABILITY'S AND RESPONSIBILITIES


* Ensure Sales orders are processed to agreed timescales and dealing with and issuing any relevant customer correspondence efficiently.


* Placing purchase orders using email or appropriate systems including orders to Japan and USA and dealing effectively with any related queries and correspondence.


* Ensure new materials are created on SAP system to enable the placing and processing orders from customers.


* Ensure invoices are created for outgoing orders.


* Answering incoming telephone calls are answered efficiently and any queries are resolved effectively.


* Provide general administration to the Semiconductor, Scientific, P.E., WQI and Medical departments


* Responsible for ensuring repairs are sent to Japan, following up on progress and dealing with any correspondence and queries


* Liaising with Service department for customer repairs to be carried out internally and updating customer on progress.


* Proactively promote and follow HSE practices, manage risk and take appropriate action with regard to reporting and avoiding all incidents, near misses and hazards.


* Flexible to carry out any other tasks in accordance with departmental and organisational needs.

Skills and Experience:


Essential


* GCSE grade C/4 or equivalent in English and Maths * Good communication skills -written and verbal


* Experience within an office administration environment/role


* Good computer skills -Microsoft Word and strong working knowledge of Excel


* Experience of using SAP



Preferred


* Experience in a similar role


* Experience with Sales order processing


* Experience of dealing with customers and queries over the phone/email

* Numerate


* Able to work effectively in a team and remotely as required


* Good attention to detail
