Sales Administrator


Our Client based in Gloucester is looking for an Administrator to be a part of their excellent and established sales team. This is a great opportunity to join a growing and well-known company in the Gloucestershire area.

The chosen person will be to provide administration support for the sales team, this will also include supporting the sales surveyors in their roles of bringing new or repeat business into the company.

You will also be expected to offer a high-quality service to internal and external clients and to efficiently and effectively undertake a range of tasks allocated by the Sales Admin team leader.

Daily responsibilities

  • To make and receive telephone calls for and on behalf of the Sales Team with the highest attention to customer service

  • Organising travel and hotel arrangements for the Sales Surveyors when required.

  • Booking appointments in a geographically efficient manner and organising/keeping the sales surveyors' diaries up to date.

  • To assist in preparations for meetings and presentations internally and externally

  • Entering and maintaining all information relating to an enquiry onto Microsoft Navision and Outlook accurately and fully.

  • Providing data entry support for the Sales Surveyors as required, to include specifications, quotations, letters and proposals

  • On receipt of a signed contract from a client, process the quotation and contract through to the installation/takeover team ensuring that they are provided with all the correct information and documentation for them to plan resource and order kit.

  • To liaise with clients, the Sales, Design, Takeover, Signalling, Projects and Installation teams

Candidate experience required:

  • Efficient and accurate data entry skills

  • Competent in the use of Microsoft word and all Microsoft packages.

  • Polite and professional telephone manner

  • Capable of multi-tasking, prioritising and managing own workload.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills

  • Willing to undertake all tasks to support the sales team and exceed client's expectations

Hours are Monday - Friday 8:30 - 5:30pm with 1 hour for lunch & 25 days holiday
