We are recruiting for an exciting new permanent position for a Sales Person to work at a multi-billion-pound global organisation.

This role is paying £26,000 p/a and also offers an uncapped commission scheme with a realistic OTE of £32k. You will also be given a company car (or car allowance), laptop and mobile phone. You will have the opportunity to take part in their flexible working scheme, and you will be given full training which will include job shadowing, two-week induction, and systems training. As this is a global organisation which specialises in more than one industry, you will have the opportunity long term to explore alternative opportunities within the organisation should you want to, and be considered for work within one of their offices across locations including Europe or the USA.

The role is Monday-Friday 08:30-17:00 with a 16:30 finish on a Friday. Although these are office hours, you will be responsible for managing your own diary and travelling to multiple locations across the Midlands to maximise existing client sales and generate new business.

Main responsibilities for this role will include:

  • Selling contracts (B2B) and converting new business as well as maximising existing business through cold calls and face to face meetings

  • Cold calling prospective clients and attending business meetings with potential customers

  • Managing your own diary to ensure that two business meetings are conducted daily

  • Managing a portfolio of clients across the Midlands and sending out quotes from the Birmingham office

  • Providing excellent customer service and outstanding rapport building

You will ideally possess a minimum of 6-12 months experience in a customer facing role, perhaps you will have experience resolving conflict and finding resolutions to customer complaints. You will be comfortable building rapport and relationships with a range of people and provide exceptional customer service which is second to none.
